Features

Manufactured in either semi-stainless steel (standard), stainless steel or High Speed steel, the GP Gear Pump is suitable for the accurate and uninterrupted metering and dispensing of most water-based and solvent based paints. The pumps ensure a stable and consistent paint supply even when certain coating conditions (e.g. viscosity) change. All wetted parts, i.e. parts in contact with the paint/fluid, are made of stainless steel. Due to their light weight, the GP gear pumps are commonly used to supply paint to automatic painting systems and robots.

Applications

Standard solvent based paints, standard water based paints, abrasive paints (e.g. high viscosity, metallic paint), highly viscous materials

Options

The GP range of paint gear pumps is also available for outputs up to 15.0 cc/rev (models: 0.8, 1.5, 3.0, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 15.0 and 21.0 cc/rev). A special 3.6 cc/rev flush model is also available for easy cleaning.

How to choose the right gear pump?

The following criteria should be considered when selecting a gear pump for paint supply:

  • Flow Rate (minimum, maximum, normal)
  • Type of paint or coating (e.g. high-vicosity, abrasive or standard)
  • Temperature (minimum, maximum, normal)
